Rolex Explorer II

A lovely unpolished example of the white-dial Explorer II, with the added reassurance of a complete Rolex service in February 2024.

Watch is an F series which puts it around 2003-2005. Nice era for the exp II getting the later solid end links on the bracelet.

The 16570 has a great balance of everyday practicality and classic Rolex proportions. Its 40mm steel case, brushed fixed bezel and distinctive red GMT hand give it a proper tool-watch feel, while the crisp white dial with black surrounds makes this “Polar” version particularly easy to read.

The watch is unpolished, retaining well-defined edges and their original character. There are light surface marks consistent with careful use, as shown in the photographs. We have obviously opted to not polish this watch to give the new owner that decision.

Rolex completed a full overhaul in 2024, including replacement of the crown and sapphire crystal. The accompanying invoice specifically states “Do not refinish Case and Bracelet”, preserving the watch’s unpolished finish.

Supplied with inner and outer boxes, booklets, Rolex service card and the February 2024 service invoice. Original warranty paper is not present.
